These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, products, and services offered by Hold the Stop ("we," "us," "Hold the Stop"). By using the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the site or purchase. By using the site you represent that you meet these requirements.
We offer educational products and services that teach discipline and self-control across areas of life — including health and weight habits, poker and gambling, trading, business, and confidence — which may include the Hold the Stop 30-day program, 1-on-1 coaching, downloadable templates and tools, and free resources. Descriptions of what's included are on the relevant product pages. We may modify, add, or discontinue features over time.
Hold the Stop teaches discipline as a general skill applied across areas such as health and weight habits, poker and gambling, trading and investing, business, and confidence. All products and content are educational only and are not medical, health, nutritional, financial, investment, gambling, legal, tax, business, or psychological advice, and create no advisory, fiduciary, or professional-client relationship. Several of these areas carry real risk — financial loss, health considerations, and more — and you are solely responsible for your decisions, your compliance with the laws that apply to you, and your results. Prices are shown at checkout and may change at any time; the price you pay is the price displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party provider (currently Payhip), and your purchase is also subject to that provider's terms. You agree to provide accurate billing information and that you are authorized to use the payment method. Payment-plan installments, where offered, are due on the schedule shown at checkout; failure to pay an installment may suspend access until resolved.
Because our products grant immediate, full access to digital materials, all sales are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. Please review the product page, the curriculum, and the "who it's for" section before purchasing. 1-on-1 coaching terms, including any rescheduling or cancellation policy, are confirmed before you begin.
On purchase, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own personal, non-commercial use. All content — videos, text, templates, tools, branding, and the "Hold the Stop" name and marks — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly post, or create derivative works from the materials, or share your account access, without our written permission. We may revoke access for violations.
You agree not to misuse the site or services, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping, reverse-engineering, reselling access, harassing others, or using the materials for any unlawful purpose.
Coaching is offered by application and is capacity-limited; submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Coaching is educational and provides no guarantee of any outcome. Specific scheduling, scope, fees, and cancellation terms are agreed before coaching begins and, where applicable, in a separate coaching agreement that controls in the event of conflict.
The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any result will be achieved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hold the Stop, its owners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading or gambling losses, business losses, health outcomes, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hold the Stop and its owners and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the services, your decisions, or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including license restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Minnesota, United States, unless otherwise required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
